Chick Flicks
There are so many really great films for us ladies, but don't think we don't have a few good ones for men to enjoy with us too! In my opinion Armageddon is a good example, action packed and one of the best tearjerkers (if you ask me that is!) Also, Stand By Me is one that even guys will enjoy especially since it's all about boys, and their view on things.
I'm definitely one of those girls who falls to pieces watching chick flicks and I have so many favorites that I think it would be almost impossible to name them all! But I have a few all time fave's that tend to jump into my head when I think about girly movies. Titanic (go figure right?), Now and Then, Ever After, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club and there's about a million more but I won't even try to name half of them, it would take forever! Anyways, haha I know that was a super random thing to talk about but honestly I really have nothing more exciting to say!! Sad eh?
Cheers!!

Bear Lake
When we were younger we would go and get wet and then cover ourselves in dry sand all over and then run back into the water to get it all off. I haven't a clue as to why we found this as entertaining as we did but I suppose when you're young enough things just make sense! We also (for whatever reason) thought that Baywatch was the funniest thing ever and we'd always make fun of the large breasted women on that show..namely Pamela Anderson. So we'd all go running slow mo down the beach with our hands at our chests pretending we had huge boobs and imitated them bouncing around as we went and then dove into the water and came up laughing as though it was the funniest thing in the world but honestly even to this day if the four of us were to go to the beach..I'm pretty sure we'd still find it just as hilarious as we did then!
I have so many really great memories involving the four of us, we've all been friends for so long now! We're simply part of each other. It's too bad that we're all a bit far apart now but that can happen, we still keep in touch fairly well which is great :) But growing up with them was never dull that's for sure...the four musketeers <3

Orcas Island Relived
Last summer me and my boyfriend went on a weekend camping trip to Orcas Island. It was our first time going camping alone and it was really quite nice. We started our trip in Surrey and then drove down across the border through Bellingham, all the way over to Anacortes, then we had to take the ferry over. Once we got to the Island it was just a matter of finding the campsite which we had a bit of trouble with at first because we were convinced we had already passed the turn off for it but eventually we came across it and found a nice little campsite which was fairly private. Or at least, as private as it gets considering there's not too many trees there. Then it was just a matter of finding a shop so we could get a bit of food since we couldn't take much with us across the border and it was actually kind of difficult, we had to go to two different places just to find hot dogs! But eventually we managed to get what we needed and I can't be sure but we either made lunch or had a nap it's all a bit fuzzy lol. Anyways, the rest of the first day was fairly uneventful and the next day we slept super late, had some breakfast and I think we went for a short drive around the island, and we ended up going for a short hike to the peak of the mountain at Moran State Park. The View was AMAZING and the forest was so lush and green. It was gorgeous and there was this one spot where there was a little pond and it had so many little newts (or salamanders, I don't really know which :S) so that was kind of neat to look at. Then at the top of the mountain is this skinny tower type building that was a fort at one point. So we had a snack at the top and then made our way back down and had a lovely little nap. I swear that's what about half of our trip was spent doing, napping! Anyways, that night we also went down to the water to see the stars, so we stood out on the dock and pointed out all the constellations that we knew of (and could find lol) and then it was off to bed for the night. Then we drove home the next day. Mostly it was just nice to be able to spend all that time together alone without parents or siblings or other people. We'll definitely have to go again. And that's my story!! The first pic is the one of the tower at the top of the mountain, the second is just a spot in the trees that I thought was pretty and the third is what we just assumed used to be a well at one point, other than that we couldn't really figure out what it was supposed to be! And no, we weren't holding the camera wrong, it's leaning :)

Welcome
Well here I am, another person on the Internet writing about nothing in particular really. Lucky me I finally get to go on my dream trip to Europe, which I have been hoping to go on since about oh…the 8th grade. I jet off this summer with one of my best friends and we’re doing a month long Contiki tour. It’s just over two months until we leave and considering that I have wanted to go on this trip for SO long, I’m finding myself very unexcited at the moment. Although I’m under the impression that once I reach the last week or two before I leave then the excitement will finally kick in! It will truly be an amazing trip though I definitely can’t wait for June to come so that I can get this adventure started! I’ve never really travelled before and so I KNOW this is going to be a whirlwind trip of a lifetime!
Only 70 more days to go!
